Munsoft Matters communication sent on 15 December 2020 has reference.
With the release of mSCOA Chart 6.5 the Budget Circular No. 107 was also released providing guidance on the compilation of the 2021/2022 MTREF as well as reporting requirements.
The reporting requirements relating to budgeting include:
- The annual budget must be accompanied by a quality certificate, council resolution and budget locking certificate
- The A1 Schedule must be included in PDF format on the Version 6.5 template
- The A1 Schedule must include Tables A1 - A10 and certain non-financial supporting tables as stipulated in the Circular
Munsoft is in process of creating the functionality to generate the required Tables in PDF format via the system as well as providing a funded budget assessment in the format of Table A8 of the A1 Schedules.
This updated functionality will be communicated before the 2021/2022 MTREF due dates and once completed and tested with National Treasury.
