The delivery of municipal statements will be affected because of the 21-day nation-wide lockdown of the Post Office's operations (see Post Office letter below).
The SA Post Office Group CEO Ivumile Nongogo yesterday announced that all mail sorting centres would be closed during the 21-day nation-wide lockdown. As such, there will be no mail movement. Printed municipal statements won't be delivered until the Post Office reopens.
Munsoft has been assisting most of our municipalities with eServices which allows for the sending of electronic statements via email and SMS, and this is done through the Schedule J with active MSA's. This service and business process will continue to function as per usual, send us your information when you are ready as per our standard process, we are not closed, we will assist with electronic(Email/SMS) statement distribution.
